Watch 14 Test matches live on Prime Video this autumn
The benefits of Amazon Prime for rugby fans
There is a feast of international rugby coming up in the northern hemisphere – and for the first time Amazon Prime Video will be showing matches.
The on-demand streaming service will be showing 14 of the 16 Autumn Nations Cup matches live in November and December, so now is the ideal time for UK rugby fans to sign up to Amazon Prime.
For those who are already Prime members, they will be able to watch Test rugby at no extra cost. If you’re not already signed up to Amazon Prime, it costs £7.99 a month in the UK – and if you haven’t used the service before you can get a 30-day FREE trial.
Other benefits of being an Amazon Prime member include unlimited Premium Delivery on Amazon orders, access to more than two million songs on Amazon Music and eBooks, magazines and comics.
Prime Video also has great offerings for rugby fans on top of the live Test rugby. Membership gives you access to the All or Nothing series that takes you behind the scenes in the All Blacks camp, a two-part biopic on Jonah Lomu as well as documentaries like Pacific Warriors, XV: Beyond the Tryline and Chasing Great: The Richie McCaw Story.
If it’s just the live rugby you’re after, you could sign up in the week the Autumn Nations Cup kicks off – Italy v Scotland and England v Georgia back-to-back on Saturday 14 November are the first matches being shown by Prime Video – and then you’d have access to all four tournament weekends.
And if you just sign up for Prime Video, without the other benefits, the price is £5.99 a month. With 14 games in that period, it works out at less than 50p a Test – great value! – and you can cancel at the end of the tournament.
However, if you sign up for Amazon Prime today, you could also take advantage of the myriad offers available to members on Prime Day (13-14 October).
