On Saturday, Rotherham take on Worcester at home in the league for the first time in eight years. A big crowd is expected at Clifton Lane for the visit of the
league leaders who gained a workmanlike victory over Plymouth in Round 12. Rotherham succumbed to second- placed Bedford who remain six points adrift
of the Warriors at the top of the table. Bedford’s Edd Thrower joins the ever- growing list of hat- trick scorers in the division having achieved the feat against
the Titans last week. Esher lie in wait next for the Goldington Road outfit.
It is three- and- a- half years and six games since Birmingham & Solihull last got the better of London Welsh who beat the Bees 33-9 earlier in the season.
London Welsh go into the clash on the back of a win over, Cornish Pirates, while the Bees went down to a heavy 46-23 loss at Notttingham. Cornish Pirates
boast a five- game unbeaten run against Moseley in the league but were held to a 26- all draw at Billesley Common earlier in the season.
Doncaster have enjoyed recent success over Bristol, and had been in a rich vein of form until slipping up 27-15 at Moseley. Bristol achieved back- to- back
wins for the first time this season when they beat Esher 30-17.
Close- fought matches have been a recurring theme whenever Plymouth and Nottingham meet, with three games in the last three years all being settled by a
single point. No quarter is likely to asked or given at Brickfields this weekend.
