Warren Gatland has named his 30-man squad, and 22-year-old Sam Warburton as Wales captain for next month’s World Cup. Veteran flanker Martyn Williams will not travel to New Zealand, despite captaining the team that defeated Argentina on Saturday. Sale’s Dwayne Peel has also been left out, as Cardiff’s Lloyd Williams is included as the third scrum-half.
