Review of March
Another month has been and it’s coming to the business end of the season where anything can be won or lost. It has been very difficult to decide this month’s awards but I have decided them and here they are.
My team of the month goes to Leicester Tigers. They know what they need to do at this time of year and they just keep winning. However; credit must go to Northampton who are playing a very attractive style of rugby and in the past month have won a trophy!
Coach of the Month goes to Jim Mallinder for playing such an attractive style of rugby and there is no doubt about it my eyes that he will be the manager of England in the years to come.
Player of the Month goes to Akapusi Qera. Bit of a mouthful to say but on the pitch unstoppable at the moment and one I would rather be on the same team on and not on the opposition! There are quite a few moments of the month this month. One is the LV Cup Final; what a match. It was end to end stuff, there were breathtaking tries; great to see two sides wanting to play attractive running rugby and not boring kicking contests. Another moment was seeing Wasps lose against Sale in the infamous ‘Pizzagate’ rematch; justice! That’s all for now so I will see you next month!
