Joe is editor of Rugby World magazine and rugbyworld.com. He joined in May 2024 from PR & Comms agency Hill and Knowlton where he was a content expert for adidas, Gillette, the IOC and HSBC.

Before that, he spent five years at the award-winning Cyclist Magazine, starting as a junior web writer before departing as Digital Editor.

Joe has covered some of the world’s biggest sporting events such as the Tour de France, Hong Kong Sevens and The Open as a journalist and as a content producer.

Best moment on the pitch? Unbeaten treble-winning season with Blackheath Under 18s. The real invincibles.

Best match ever attended? Harlequins 19-17 Stade Francais in December 2008. I wore my multi-coloured Stade shirt and sat next to the away fans with their brass section. Oh I love French rugby.

Bucket list event? Not an event but watching a test match at Eden Park in New Zealand.
