It’s one of those conversations you always have down the boozer with your mates: if the British & Irish Lions were selected tomorrow, who would you choose to start?
Of course, in some positions it’s a little more straightforward, but when you look at the options available at full-back – particularly as each of England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales have incredibly strong candidates – it is not so easy to pick one. But tough! We are asking you to cast your vote above!
England and Harlequins No 15 Mike Brown may be recovering from a concussion and missing for the third round of the Six Nations, but he is a constant attacking force for his national side. Welshman Leigh Halfpenny is consistently impressive at the back for his Test side and for Toulon and his assured kicking from the tee catches the eye. Stuart Hogg regularly launches counter-attacks and can slip through fine gaps, while Rob Kearney appears to patrol the skies.
Who would you want? Remember, don’t go for national bias, but pick the player you think would be the best for the select side.
