The latest Clubhouse Podcast is here and the Rugby World team are talking through the end of the club season.
What’s that? Okay, it’s only the end of the Aviva Premiership and Guinness Pro12 – we know the Top 14 is still grinding on and Super Rugby is fizzing away on the other hemisphere – but this is our chance to congratulate Saracens and Glasgow Warriors on their triumphs.
We also talk through the exhilirating end-game of the Championship play-offs, as well as considering how Worcester Warriors will do next term in the Premiership, and a few of the other big bits of news from accross the Channel come under the microscope, as our team consider Guy Noves’s appointment as head coach of France after the Rugby World Cup and also how lucky Yoann Huget appears to be for avoiding sanction for a disgusting stamp.
As well as that, we discuss the recent fixture between England and the Barbarians, as the hosts obliterated the the rag-tag BaaBaas by 73-12. We’re not quite calling for the end of the BaaBaas in our discussion, but it is proposed that maybe there is a better way to use the famous invitational side in the future…
We chat through a few of the recent World Cup squads (please note this was recorded before Danny Cipriani‘s latest misadventure) and finish up with talking about what is in the July 2015 issue of Rugby World magazine – you can find the latest subscription offers here.
We hope you enjoy listening!
