Former Leeds, Wasps and Sale wing David Doherty scored a debut try for Jersey in a 32-18 home win over Ealing. Free- scoring Southend stay top though
after a 34-10 win at Canterbury. Jersey are now on collision course with a Taunton side hell- bent on revenge for the 65-14 hammering dished out to them in
the National Three Champions semi- final at St Peter last April. Southend welcome Clifton to Warners Bridge.
Richmond racked up their fifth win in a row to inflict a first home defeat of the season on Old Albanians. Fly- half Ross Broadfoot contributed 29 points in a
39-26 victory.
Taunton were also impressive winners on the road after leaving Westcombe Park with maximum points. Fijian Apo Satala got his second try in as many
games since joining the Somerset outfit from Gloucester, while there were two tries apiece for Christian Gervais and Charlie Walker- Brown and further tries
from Jamie Fleming and Stephen Ward.
A last- gasp try from Danny Wells secured a 13-7 win for Henley at Shelford, and Hinckley are still waiting for their first win after being ‘nilled’ at home to
Lydney, for whom flanker Tim Longden got a brace of tries.
Newbury are also winless but picked up their second league point of the season after scoring four tries in the 57-22 loss at Clifton. Rob Viol and James
Golledge scored twice each for the home side. Fellow Bristolians Dings Crusaders slipped to a 27-20 defeat at Worthing.
