Danny Care feeling a little left out

Quins welcome back Harlequins and England’s Danny Care when they take on Sale Sharks at the Twickenham Stoop. Quins will be determined to right the wrongs from last week’s defeat against Exeter Chiefs, which ended an unbeaten run of 9 games in all competitions, and get back to winning ways. The London side haven’t been beaten at the Stoop since the opening home game against Northampton Saints.

There are only three changes to the team that started last week at Sandy Park.

Joe Marler, Joe Gray and James Johnston combine in the front row with Ollie Kohn and Pete Browne (who replaces the injured George Robson) partnering in the second row. Maurie Fa’asavalu, Will Skinner and Chris Robshaw make up the back row.

There will be a new 9-10 partnership in the backs. With Karl Dickson being injured last week against Exeter and Nick Evans being ruled out with a muscle strain, Danny Care takes a break from International duties to join forces with Rory Clegg.

Jordan Turner-Hall and George Lowe are the centre pairing, with Ugo Monye and Gonzalo Camacho covering the wings. Mike Brown retains the number 15 shirt.

Injuries picked up in last week’s clash against Exeter see Karl Dickson (shoulder) and George Robson (hand) ruled out for a number of weeks.
