Saracens have further strengthened their squad by signing Joe Maddock.

Mark McCall, Director of Rugby, said: “Joe was universally admired as the leading try-scorer in the Premiership in 2009/10, and he will bring proven talent, personality and a voice to our backline.”

Maddock, 32, formerly with Bath and Benetton Treviso, said: “I am delighted to be returning to England, and to be joining the champions. I visited the Saracens training ground recently and anybody can see there is a real determination to build a happy, successful and special club, on and off the field. I can’t wait to join the family.”
