One Italy “A” and one under 20 player, have been cited for alleged foul play in matches at the weekend. Francesco Minto, Italy “A” openside wing forward, has been cited for allegedly making contact with the eyes or eye area of an opponent in the match against Scotland “A” in Gala, on Friday evening and Italy under 20 centre, Giovanni Alberghini, has been cited for an alleged stamp to the face of an opponent in the match with Ireland under 20 in Parma, also on Friday evening.
Hearings for the two players will be held in front of two Six Nations independent disciplinary committees in London on Tuesday.
