The Green and Whites will be training either side of Christmas Day to ensure optimum preparation for the Doncaster clash on December 27. On Christmas Eve and Boxing Day Nottingham will be utilising the training options across the city to avoid any impact from the snow and ice on Lady Bay.
Delaney’s men are also focused on their next game, vs Esher this Tuesday, despite more snow downfalls across England raising questions of whether the game will go ahead. Speaking on the upcoming matches, the Director of Rugby said that his players would be mentally and physically ready for a return to action in the coming days. “We have very good training options here in Nottingham, so in that respect our preparation won’t suffer as we look to win our next two games.
“Many of the players have been able to get some rest over the past couple of weeks and we have good options in the squad as we look to take on Esher and Donny. “When the weather hits the country like this it is important to carry on training as normally as possible and not to become distracted with the prospect of cancelled games.
“We’ll be training either side of Christmas to get ourselves in the perfect position for Doncaster next Monday, while also giving the guys some time to recover and spend time with their families.”
Children can gain entry to the Doncaster game for just a pound, while Nottingham fans can also enjoy an extra special two course Xmas Pie Club for just £15, which includes an upgrade to VIP Seating and the chance to meet All Black Ali Williams, who arrives into Nottingham that day!
